Nothing Stopping Me

Canadian duo Far Out have been crafting their version of Vicetone's "Nothing Stopping Me" with Kat Nestel on vocal. There's just something about Far Out and the way they do intros. The progressive arp is really spooling up the tension, creating a really energetic sensation, but still with a great melodic vibe. Their remix also has an alternative structure, with the real "drop" kicking in at around 3:15. Although this might sound odd, it makes perfect sense and it sounds great! Hit play and make sure to pick up a free download via the link below:

Up next is the track "Hypnotic" by Zella Day, here in the Solidisco remix. The NYC based duo really nail this track adding their characteristic modern disco sound. The Word Is Love

It's getting cold and dark, so to get you think warmer thought, here is Sam Feldt's edit of "The Devil's Tears" by On June feat. Tesity. On June's version is already a cover/remix of the original track which is by Angus & Julia Stone. The changes made to the original "cover" takes the track more in the melodic deep house/tropical house direction. The Sam Feldt edit can be streamed right here below or via Spotify. Enjoy :)

It's been a while since Torontonian Adam K uploaded something new to Soundcloud, but now he is back with a smooth and groovy house remix of Steve Silk Hurley feat. Sharon Pass' "The Word Is Love (Say The Word)". It's hard not to feel somewhat nostalgic listening to this, as the original came out in 1997. Adam K has done a great job bringing this classic back into the 21st century, with a classy synth melody and a crisp beat. You can even pick the remix up as a free download...so do yourself a favour and hit the link below. Enjoy :)

I Just Want You

It's been quiet for some time from Matt Dimona, but now he is back with new music and surprise...it's his debut single! His "feel good house" trademark sound has been a winning formula for the young producer and with his debut single he takes it all one step further and sings for the first time. The track is more upbeat than his last two remixes, but it's still a very ambient and lush sound that meets the listener. Matt sings "I Just Want You"...I sing: "I Just Want To Hear This On Replay". If you feel the same way, fear not. Matt is giving this one away for free. Grab yourself a copy via the link below:

You

A few weeks ago Lost Kings dropped their debut single "Bad" from their debut EP going by the same name. Now the second single from that EP has been released and it's called "You". The track features Katelyn Tarver on vocal and her influence makes for a much more pop inspired track. It's a happy song with tropical/summer vibes, but it's also a song that shows a different side of Lost Kings. In case you haven't had a chance to listen to "Bad" it's included below along with the link for Itunes and Spotify. Here you can also find the third track on the EP called "Loveless".  Enjoy :)

Soap

It hasn't been long since Steve James released his first remix in months and now he is pushing out his next remix. This time he has remixed Melanie Martinez's track "Soap". It was already evident from his last remix that his sound had changed and this remix confirms the trend. The vibe is more laidback and less progressive. He has even included some elements of trap in his beat, which I believe is a first for Steve James. His remix is part of the official remix package for "Soap" and it's out now via Atlantic Records.

Downhearted

Pegboard Nerds have revealed another track from their EP Pink Clouds. This track is called "Downhearted" and features Jonny Rose on vocal. While the EP in general has been a reformation in terms of sound profile for Pegboard Nerds, this track in particular is showing the difference. It's a really nice melodic track, with some great lyrics and vocal. By buying the EP Pink Clouds you don't just get access to this track, you also donate to Breast Cancer research. Take It To Reality

Coming in super hot is a brand new remix from Justin Jay and this time he has taken on Alison Wonderland's "Take It To Reality". This remix is indeed taken to reality with a proper punchy and deep sounding bass, which dominates the flow of the track. It's quite a heavy tune, but it works really well considering the rock inspired inputs from a certain Benny Bridges. Today's first track is called "Walls" and marks the first showcasing of Danish producer Seeamse. The 19-year old producer has created a track with a very lush chillout melancholic vibe. His Soundcloud catchphrase "I Like Making Music and I like When It Rains" perfectly encapsulates the feeling on this track. It's a dark, yet very captivating composition that makes you want to look out the window while it rains outside. Give it a listen below:

Nocturne

What better way to kick off a new week with a surprise. Spontaneously, Pierce Fulton dropped a brand new remix of EDEN's "Nocturne" and it's filled with guitar goodness. Listening to the track now, it feels like it was meant to be this way from the beginning. The guitar sound is an important part of Pierce's sound profile and this remix clearly shares this characteristic. The track now has a more pop vibe to it, but still to the easy listening side of the scale, which is just right for a track like "Nocturne". As an added bonus you can pick this remix up for free. Drinkee

CANADIAN (capital letters for a reason) duo Young Bombs are back with a delightful remix of Emily Vaughn's "Better Off". If you're familiar with the original mix you will notice that Young Bombs have kept it very true to the original and instead of taking it somewhere completely foreign, they have amplified the existing melancholic vibe, but still added some clubby influences from e.g. trap. Greece 2000

It's been a while since some more progressive tracks have found the way onto MYWLT, but here are two awesome new tracks that you just have to check out!

The first one is from Kid Arkade and it's a bootleg of the trance classic "Greece 2000". This track is running on high refs thanks to a heavy sounding lead and a proper powerful and punchy drop that makes it impossible for the listener to sit or stand still while playing this. Kid Arkade has more original work dropping soon, so until then you can enjoy his version of "Greece 2000" and grab a free download.

The second track is a new melodic progressive house marvel from Elephante. His new single called "Age Of Innocence" feat. Off The Ground

"Off The Ground" is the title of a new single by Bit Funk feat. Shae Jacobs and it's great mix of Bit Funk existing sound and a more pop oriented sound. However, even with a more 'commercial' sound, the punch line for this track (that lovely bass) is to die for. As for the vocal, it does provide the story line for the track, but I think the track could also have been quite enjoyable just as an instrumental. What do you think? Up next is a track called "All Right" by Atlanta based producer Niko the Kid. This track is indeed much more than just "All Right". It's a fantastic oldschool house tune, but spiced up with a serious bass drop. Hypnotized

Swedish producer Fredrik Sundberg, who you might know as Anevo, has released a fantastic new remix of Dear David's track "Hypnotized". The vibe is generally deep, but it gets opened up with a great guitar melody. The style reminded me a little bit of Tiesto's remix of Jose Gonzales' "Crosses", but in an insignificant way. Today's first track is called "Her (Loving You)" by Sydney based GLADES. This is their second single, following "Falling Away". This is a piece of excellent indie electronica pop, with a great instrumental, vocal and lyrics. The trio describes their music as being influenced by bands such as Broods, CHVRCHES, Halsey and The 1975 and that sounds about right.
