No Money

Up next is a remix by Toronto based producer Chet Porter for Galantis' "No Money". Unlike a lot of other "No Money" remixes, this is relatively low key and different. With a toybox like sound in the background and a flute melody on top, the new instrumental goes surprisingly well together with the original vocal. This remix took me a few plays to get used to, but I like it because it's so very different from all the other remixes I've heard of this track and that's something to pay attention to. Give it a spin yourself and hit him up on social media via the link below:

Up next is a new track by Vokes called "Backroad" feat. Nevve. The track is a fun mixture of various genres and the style reminds me a little of "Ride By Bicycle" by Skylar Grey, but at the same time it's not at all similar. I love the flow on the vocal and the easy going instrumental. They both compliment each other perfectly, making the track both memorable and special sounding. "Backroad" is the 4th and last single from Vokes' forthcoming debut EP called Fractalism.

In Your Way

Today's first track is called "In Your Way" by Middle, here in the Reflex Remix. It's a calming piece of dance music, with a chilled beat and some laid back synth sounds. With both artist and remixers originating from Montpellier, this track is probably the best sample of what Southern France is like in the summer...unless you're there in person. So soak up a bit of the French sun through this groovy summer track. It's out now on Continental Records and you can pick up a copy via the link below. Enjoy :)

Up next is a new single by Toronto based duo Loud Luxury, who have teamed up with the amazing Shoffy. I need not emphasise how awesome Shoffy is on vocal and with Loud Luxury's deep house vibe, this track can do nothing wrong. The combination is a straight winner and you can even pick it up as a free download (check the link below). Enjoy :)

Send My Love

German producer Koni recently released his version of Adele's "Send My Love" and the result is absolutely stunning and a must hear! Giving the instrumental a summery setting and exchanging Adele's vocal with that of Bailey Pelkman, has completely transformed the track. The guitar based melody gives the track a fresh and light sound and the beat is perfectly on point, without ever being overpowering. Koni has also made his remix available as a free download, so make sure to pick up a personal copy via the link below:

Remember that awesome Autograf track "Heartbeat"? Of course you do ;-) However, now this already awesome track has been remixed by none other than the duo Solidisco. They've taken a melodic, yet deep house like approach on their version of "Heartbeat" and that has worked out like a charm, as you'll hear as soon as you smack that play button. Solidisco's remix is part of the official Autograf Future Soup EP remix package, which also features remixes by Alex Schulz, GRMM and Dirty Chocolate.

Baby

Today's first track comes from Felix Cartal, who's been crafting his version of Anna Of The North's "Baby". The result is a clubby indie electronica track, with a great melody and of course the amazing vocal from the original track. The instrumental has a great atmospheric vibe and that fits well together with the style of Anna Of The North. While I am not sure this remix will be officially released in a remix package, you can stream it all you want right here below:

Moving on to another track that involves Felix Cartal. His collab with Kaskade, called "Fakin It", has received a formidable remix package including versions by Hotel Garuda, Hook N Sling and this one by Galactic Marvl. The simple synth intro immediately got my attention, but as the track progresses, it starts combining those blissful moments with energetic elements of trap and that ladies and gentlemen just works wonders on "Fakin It"! Check it out below and check out the full remix package via Spotify or Itunes. Enjoy :)

Premiere Classé

Legendary Danish producer and DJ Kenneth Bager returns with his project The Kenneth Bager Experience and has recently released his new album Premiere Classé. The title track introduces the album with a fresh and relaxing Balearic house vibe that makes you want to think of summer. It's been a while since I've featured a pure instrumental track, but this one just ticks all the boxes for me as it's pure bliss. Give it a spin yourself and grab/stream the album Premiere Classé via the links below.

Up next is Berlin based producer Mogul with a new track called "Soulglow" feat. Damon Trueitt. As soon as you hit that play button, a soulful bassline hits you right in the ear canal. It's instagroovey and the track manages to deliver it's special vibe from the very beginning. This is one of the finest Mogul tracks I've heard until now and it's even available as a free download for two weeks, before it will be officially released via NDYD Records on July 4th. Kill Em With Kindness

My favourite Canadian duo have been very busy lately, so busy in fact I couldn't even keep up with their releases! Time to make up for that. Here are two amazing Young Bombs remixes, the first one for Selena Gomez's "Kill Em With Kindness". Adding some on point melodic touches and combining them with some epic vocal chop and punchy chords, results in a direct winner. It's an upbeat track, yet theres a good balance in the overall, as the verses have a more lowkey beat. This is your weekend party starter, so go ahead and grab a copy via Itunes (link below):

Get "Kill Em With Kindness" (Young Bombs Remix) on ITUNES

The second remix was released about two weeks ago, so there is a chance you have already stumbled upon it. It's however one of my favourite remixes ever made by Young Bombs, so shame on me for not sharing this earlier. This remix was made for Anna of the North's track "The Dreamer" and while it's also upbeat, it has a much more atmospheric and calming vibe, compared to the Selena Gomez remix above. The entire sound stage fits like hand in glove with Anna of the North's vocal and it makes for yet another great summer track. This one is even available as a free download, so go ahead and pick up a copy via the link below:

Right When You Need Me

While today has all been about Brexit and Her Majesty The Queen abandoning the EU ship, let me serve you some tunes to clear your mind.

First off is LEFTI with a new nu-disco release called "Right When You Need Me" feat. TC Milan. The track has a fresh summer like disco feel to it, with an amazing vocal and an upbeat and positive vibe. The French House inspired bass line and funky guitar feels right at home on a track like this and the drop, with its looped -eyeaha,eyaha-, makes "Right When You Need Me" really catchy sounding too. This track is part of LEFTI's new EP called "Somebody", which was released today and available via Itunes (see link below).

Let's go clubby with the next track. Miami based Sluggers have released a new EP called "My Head" and one of the two tracks featured on it, is this one called "Underground". The name "Underground" explains the track well. The sound is deep, industrial, techno inspired and filled with the most awesome bass. Sink Like A Stone

Washington D.C. based Eau Claire has released a new remix a few days ago for Naomi Pilgrim's "Sink Like A Stone" and what a remix it is. If you're based in Scandinavia you must have heard the original track at some point on the radio, where it has been played very frequently ever since it was released. Eau Claire's version picks up the pace and turns it into a more club friendly track, adding a cool new synth melody and some wonderful bell sounds. This version, together with two other remixes by Ikonika and Nguzunguzu respectively make up the official remix package for "Sink Like A Stone", so not only can you stream Eau Claire's remix below, but also on Spotify (see link).

Up next is Munich based Jetique with an updated version of the classic "Horny" by Mousse T. The characteristic horn sounds are guaranteed to put you in a good mood, but Jetique has also done a great job adding this own touch to the track, with a powerful and club-minded bass line and some cool piano chords. It's been quite a while since I listened to the original track, but this is a great way to rediscover it. You can even download a copy for free via the link below. Enjoy :)

Cheers

The one and only JackLNDN has released a new EP a few days ago called "Cheers". It features two amazingly mellow electronica tunes and if you're familiar with Jack's music, than you'll notice that the style on this EP is a bit different compared to what he has released until now. The new sounds are refreshingly different and perhaps best explained as a mix between RnB, indie and electronica. The first track "Cheers" is the more upbeat of the two, but both tracks generally have a very relaxed vibe. Give both tracks a spin and make sure to pick up a free download of the EP via the link below:

If that wasn't mellow enough for you, here's a track by Brika called "You". You won't hear a smoother track all week, at least not on this blog. When I first listened to this track, the vocal just knocked me out. Together with that light funky instrumental, this is an absolute winner. The less I wrote about this track and the earlier you hit that play button, the better for both of us!

Just A Lover

Hayden James has released a new single called "Just A Lover", a bass filled power track with a delightful deep vibe. The vocal gives the track a lighter feel and so does the beautiful piano parts the instrumental has as well. "Just A Lover" is out now via Future Classic and available for streaming or download via the links below. If you will be at Roskilde Festival this year, Hayden James will be performing on Saturday, July 2nd at 07:30 pm, so be sure not to miss out.

Have you been watching the UEFA Euro 2016? Tonight Germany will play against Northern Ireland, Ukraine will meet Poland, Czech Republic go up against Turkey and Croatia will be fighting Spain. David Guetta has been in charge for the official tournament anthem called "This One's For You" feat. Zara Larsson and now Vienna based producer ESH has created a remix for it, giving it a more aggressive and clubby feeling, unlike the original mix which I never really liked that much. I'm pretty sure that if David Guetta had made a drop like ESH, DJ Snake wouldn't have accused Guetta for copying his style. Waves

Today's first track comes from Luna Shadows and it's called "Waves". This is an absolutely beautiful track, with a great atmospheric vibe and a catchy melody. After one listen it had already glued itself to my brain, proving itself as a genuine earworm. The combination between vocal and instrumental works as a unity and the two complement each other in the most perfect way. It's a pretty deep track too, so if you want to start out your Monday slow, then this is for you. "Waves" is part of an upcoming EP called Summertime, which included 3 other tracks as well. It will be out on July 1st, but you can pre-order it already via Itunes (see link below).

If you're on the look for something a bit more upbeat though, then this one might be for you. Here's Seattle based producer Clyde Hill with "Cascade" feat. Lyon Hart. The track is pop inspired house tune with a beautiful melodic side and some a pretty cool vocal. The chorus/drop has a playful vibe and reminds me a little of a slowed down Pegboard Nerds track. Come Get It

How time flies. It's already Sunday (again) and another fresh week is knocking on the door. Here's your chance to refuel with some cool new tunes, before everything gets hectic again.

To put you in the right mood, here's a cool new track by CHIMES (Draper & Paul Aiden) called "Come Get It". It's a house/pop inspired song, with a sweet upbeat vibe and some cool guitar sounds for the main melody parts. It has a really good feel to it and the groove makes the track dance all the way through your ear canal, in a dope way. Give it a spin below and check out CHIMES via their social media (see links below):

French producer M.Waxx is responsible for this next track, which is a remix for Sam Feldt's "Shadows Of Love". I really like the sounds that have been used for this version and the melody and vibe gives the track a subtle and absolutely on point deep vibe, which suits the original track very well in my opinion. I particularly like the high pitch vocal snippets, combined with the soft synth pluck sound when the track starts. It's so simple, yet so effective and addictive. Unfortunately there's no option to download this remix or buy it anywhere, but stream it all you want right here below.

m.a.l.m.r. - Hopeless Place (We Found Love) // Exclusive Premiere

Let's start out today's post with something really special. London based producer m.a.l.m.r. has produced a new track called "Hopeless Place (We Found Love)". It's somewhat difficult for me to say what genre this is, so I won't bore you with my attempts to place this in a box. Instead I will encourage you to pay close attention to this track, as it proves that you don't have to follow a cookie cutter structure to make great music. The sounds used here are excitingly different and the vocal is hauntingly captivating in an almost hypnotic way. The soft synths and bass sounds create a dope background track that really sets the stage for "Hopeless Place" and gives it a great atmospheric vibe. There is no release date available for the track yet and it's likely to stay live for only a short amount of time (for now that is), so make sure to get your streams going on and hit that play button below:

Up next is the track "Noises" by Jessi Malay and this particular version is the remix by Kryptogram. The Chicago based producer has taken this track and turned it into deep house bliss. The lovely deep bass filled melody fits really well together with a pitched Jessi Malay vocal. Personally, I prefer this clubbier take on "Noises" compared to the original, but give it a spin yourself and check it out. While there's no release date for this or download option, you can stream it all you want right here below:

Best of Me

Swedish duo Newtimers have had their track "Best Of Me" remixed by Sailor & I and the result is awesome. This remix manages to be both calming and upbeat at the same time and the sounds that have been used are absolutely on point. It's however not at all similar in style to the original, giving the track a different profile, soaring somewhere between house, deep house and pop. There's no mention of a release date, but I will keep you posted if that changes. Until then, give it as many spins as you like right here below:

Being a bit of a gamer myself, it was pretty much impossible to avoid news coming from E3 this week. Yesterday was the last day of the Electronic Entertainment Expo and therefore I thought I'd share Marin Garrix's track "Oops", which was specifically created for the event. As you'll hear, Martin Garrix has been playing around with some 8-bit sounds, to create a sound that is similar to that of old video games (90's kids will remember this from the GameBoy system). This results in a track that sounds quite different from Martin Garrix's other productions, but still it's awesome. This guy can do no wrong it seems! Where I'm Going

Today's first track comes from Norwegian producer Jerry Folk, who has made a new single called "Where I'm Going". The track is driven by the most delicious bass line and some lush sounding and easy going synth chords. Melody wise it's absolutely brilliant and the switching between funky elements and what I'd call indie electronica, works out like a charm. Up next is the latest single from Justin Jay's upcoming album "Fantastic Voyage". This track called "Climbing Trees" feat. Josh Taylor & Benny Bridges is a very bass heavy and deep sounding track, however it still has some very fine emotional touches as well. I really like how the track is structured, both allowing for a deep house style vibe and a more melodic and kind vibe throughout the track. Give it a spin yourself and stay tuned for the full release of "Fantastic Voyage".

Say It Again

Luca Masini and Reuben James who make up the dup KINGDM have release a new single called "Say It Again" and it's absolutely stellar! This track has become an absolute earworm for me, thanks to it's catchy melody and lush summery vibe. The vocal too is on point and so is the tropical style beat. Somebody

Brooklyn based DJ and producer LEFTI just announced a new EP called "Somebody" and with it he released the title track as well. The track, which can be classified as a funk/house hybrid, nicely balances live instruments with electronic elements. The bass line on this track is absolutely epic, but so is the guitar and the rhythmic piano play. It's one of those track that will put you in a good mood, even if you're sour and grumpy. Chelsea Lankes' track "Bullet" has been remixed by the duo Instant Karma, turning this track into a clubby and summery vibe'd house track. Apart from having an incredibly catchy melody, this remix also allows for Chelsea's vocal characteristics to shine. Apart from looking at the charts, the number of remixes I have received for this track alone is pretty substantial. Together with the version by Erick Decks, this is one of the best remixes for CSTF I've heard. Although the title of the next track is "Felt This Good", I am pretty sure that Kap Slap didn't feel that way when his latest single had to be removed from Soundcloud due to label trouble. I posted the track right when it was released and it never had a fair chance to shine. Besides, this is probably the best track to take with you into the weekend (including the track above of course). Below is the original post from two weeks ago as well:

Kap Slap has recently been surprising everyone with his awesome story telling style mashups, but the track he has dropped today marks a whole new beginning for the producer. While "Felt This Good" is not his first original, it's by far the best track he has released to date in my opinion. There's no denying that the sound is of a more commercial nature than some of his other original work, but this is where I observe Kap Slap being right at home. His love for pop music comes right through here with this track, but it still captures that unmistakably Kap Slap sound in a grande way. Kap Slap's new single is out now via Ultra Records. Sleepwalker

LA based Jon Sprot, better know as Virtu by many, got his hands on Illenium's track "Sleepwalker" and remixed it to infinity and beyond. With an almost Porter Robinson'esque vibe to it, this version greatly balances the tracks sensitive side, but also the more powerful and melodic side, with an excellent powerful and melodic drop. I love the sounds that have been used and everything just seems to work out as if it was meant to be this way from the beginning (no offense to the original mix, which is absolutely amazing as well). Up next is a new single by Canadian powerhouse trio DiRTY RADiO. These guys just know how to make awesome music and with their latest track they prove my point. "Killin Me 2.0" is a groovy and funky house track with lots of positive vibes. "Killin Me" was originally released in 2012, but the trio decided it needed an update to better fit with their current live context. RJCTD

Istanbul based producer Pinapple Pop's track "RJCTD" has received a dope remix package and one of the remixes included is this one my Xinobi. Taking a deep house route, Xinobi's version provides the listener with a hypnotic and mysterious sounding melody. The soft and faded sounding synth chords, along with the bass line, gives the track a very special vibe, completely transforming "RJCTD". Xinobi also didn't use the vocal line from the original mix, making it very difficult to even identify as a remix for "RJCTD". Talk

The French version of King Midas (aka DJ Snake) is back with a new single called "Talk" feat. George Maple. Turns out that everything he touches turns to gold...or platinum...either way it won't be long until this single will skyrocket the pop charts. With a delightfully subtle tropical club vibe, this track is again characterised by being simple, yet clever and effective at the same time and that is sometimes all it takes to make a big hit. Often it's what sounds easy that's actually the most challenging to produce, so you got to hand it to DJ Snake for continuing to push out awesome tunes. Up next is a track by Copenhagen based producer Volmer feat. Zalon called "Unreliable". In a delicious soul-filled deep house combo, this track is absolutely ideal for late night sessions. The groove is catchy as can be and Zalon's vocal soft as butter. There's is really not much more you can ask from this track. It's just plain awesome for what it is. "Unreliable" will be out on June 10th, but until then you can stream it all you want below. Enjoy :)

Qui es-tu?

Can I order two portions of Dim Sum, please? Yes, you certainly can, Sir!

So here we are with two awesome remixes cooked up the the French duo Dim Sum. The first track is a remix for Guster called "Long Night". For a disco track it's actually quite calming. The soft chords in the verses makes it very calming and so do the chimes. The main hook is funky and fresh sounding and perfect for the hot summer months. So make sure to add this one to your playlist (check the link for Spotify below).

Dim Sum have also made this remix for Poom called "Qui es-tu?" and, yup...that's definitely a summer track too. It's light and fresh like a glass of lemonade, but it has a slightly more happy and upbeat vibe, compared to the remix above. The characteristic vocal line by Poom is always classy. Maybe you remember Les Voiles, which was a big hit last year? Either way, this is a dope track too, so check it out below:

No Money

Every time Galantis release a new single you know it's legit, but it gets even more legit when Two Friends show up and remix the pants off the original. Continuing in the same line as with their last remix for Audien's "Something Better", the duo again went along to create magic with live instruments. On this version of "No Money", a serious guitar solo dominates the drop in a refreshing and powerful way. Another thing to point out is how well Two Friends characteristic sound matches the Galantis vocal...Grade A stuff! The remix is available as a free download (see link below).

If that might have been too clubby for you, here's a track by The Geek x VRV feat. Kellylee Evans & Atom called "Coming Up". This track is like melted butter...warm, smooth and delicious. That came over weird...but I hope you get what I mean. This track is part of an upcoming EP called Origami, featuring a total of five tracks, out on June 10th. So if you're still out collecting summer music, make sure to add this to your list.

Feel

Let's start out today's post with a serious piece of trap music. Seattle based producer Fransis Derelle has teamed up with Crystalize and Convex to create this track called "Feel" from his upcoming EP Confessions. I really like the unique and fresh vibe on this track. If you're not used to heavy trap music like this, it might take some getting used to, but at the same time it's also a fantastic track to get more familiar with the genre. Also, the verses have a nice and much lighter vibe, which provides the track with a great counter balance to the more energetic parts. Give it a spin and grab a free download via the link below:

This next track is called "Think About You" by San Francisco based producer Slaptop. At first I thought this was going to be a kickass piano house track, but it's actually more of deep house track, thanks to the vocal samples used and the dope bass lead. The vibe quickly gets hypnotic, yet without becoming monotone or boring. It's a cracking track and with its on point energy, this turns out to be quite a brilliant summer tune by Slaptop.

Get To Forget

Today's first track comes from Norwegian producer and DJ Sebastian Emes and is called "Keep On" feat. Mike Chester. It's a 100% pure breed house track, with a groovy beat and a catchy synth line. I also really dig the vocal on this track. Although it's simple, it works well and enhances the catchiness of the track. "Keep On" is a great track for the summer, so make sure to add it to your playlist and download a free copy via the link below:

Up next we are going a notch deeper, with this remix by Ash Carr for Ulex's "Get To Forget". I've always been a sucker for Detroit house music and this remix, with it's heavy influence, provides just that. The sounds on this remix are very calming, yet also clubby and hypnotic at the same time. Ulex's original mix is way more techno inspired, so I also like how different this particular remix has turned out. Ash Carr's version is out now, along with two other remixes. Check out the entire package over on Juno (see link below). Enjoy!

Turn Around

LA based musical mastermind Justin Jay has released a new single from his upcoming album "Fantastic Voyage" called "Turn Around". This might just be the most mellow track on the entire album, but we'll have to wait and see until the last few singles drop. All in all, Justin Jay is yet again proving that he is sitting on one of the most diverse, yet complete and wonderful upcoming albums of this year. The album name "Fantastic Voyage" truly describes what it's all about, so I encourage you to join this voyage and check it out for yourself.

Let's stay in LA for the this next track which comes from Molly Moore. This one is called "Blood. Sweat. Tears." and this is the John Lock remix. It might quite literally have taken blood, sweat and tears to get this remix to sounds this awesome. Compared to the pop heavy original, this remix takes the track in a completely different direction, but it's a direction where it feels very comfortable. Check it out for yourself and pick up a copy via Itunes (see link below)
