Forever

Torontonian band HONORS are bringing you some spicy beats with their brand new release called "Forever". It's the first time that I hear a piece of their music, but I am instantly hooked. HONORS already experienced their first major success this year with a single called "Over" and this new one feels like it can easily carry on the momentum.

I love the melody on "Forever", as well as the atmospheric vibe and haunting vocal which sweeps blissfully over the track. This is a piece where you just want the music to speak its own language...sit back with a good pair of headphones and enjoy. You can also check out the live version in the Youtube player below, showing you what to expect at their shows.

Out now via PRMD, you can stream HONORS new single right here or via the Spotify link below.

Call Me

In the midst of being on tour together with Kill The Noise and Seven Lions, Chad Cisneros and David Reed aka Tritonal have released a new single called "Call Me". This year has been a productive one for the duo, having already dropped a number of originals like "Strangers", "Wild Kind", "Good Thing" and more... "Call Me" is a blissful pop/dance hybrid with radio appeal, perfect for easy listening or as a mild dance tune. The feel good vibes are all over this one thanks to a sweet melody and an even sweeter vocal performance. Give the track a spin and check the link below for all possible streaming options. Enjoy!

Twilight vs. Breathe

Ok...this should have you excited! Adam K & Soha, the forces behind legendary remixes like Kaskade's "4AM" and Ercola & Heikki L's "Deep At Night" are back with a mashup of their big hit "Twilight", merged with the vocals from Adam K & Slander's "Breathe" featuring Matthew Steeper & HALIENE. What can you expect? A bit of a retro kick to be honest, but it's exactly what I love about this piece. It brings back memories to an era where house music was just starting to form into the now overly abused term "EDM" and when trance really peaked as a genre. Nostalgia aside, Twilight vs. Breathe is a match meant to be and that's why it's the pick of the day! Give it a spin right here or check out links below for alternative options.

Restless Sea

I love the direction Louis Futon has been going with his music during 2017. This has again been proved with the release of his latest single called "Restless Sea" feat. Opia. The style of this track is a sweet melting pot of both his own style and that of Opia. The guitar parts are particularly outstanding, providing the track with its identity and adding some sweet contrast to the vocal performance. Production wise "Restless Sea" is A+, delivering crisp sound all around the spectrum and leaving room in the arrangement for both emotion and energy.

Be Yourself

Kazy Lambist doesn't sound like a French name, but France is where he's from. Straight outta Montpellier, the young artist has been around only for a short while, but already impresses with his unique sound and style, which in some ways remind me a bit of Norwegian band Donkeyboy, but with a distinct French house influence. The general vibe radiates a laidback club attitude which suits the vocal filter perfectly and makes for a pleasing listening experience in combination with the instrumental. Together with "Be Yourself", Kazy Labist has released another track called "Shutdown" and you can find both on all the major music streaming platforms. Check the link below for more.

Prima

I'm hungry for bass...so to fullfill my needs, here's the bassiest track that I could find. This one is called "Prima" by LA based Ivan Radin aka Commandr. Yes... "Prima" has been out for nearly half a year, but holy schmoley it hits hard. Not only does it have the sound I was looking for, it also has an ultra catchy bassline which easily gets stuck on your mind and makes you loose sense of time and place for a while. Certainly, this also means it's not a track for everyone...you need to be in the mood for it...the mood for dark, deep and heavy bass. Give it a spin below and/or pick up a free copy directly via Soundcloud. Enjoy!

Can't Judge

Pierce Fulton made a thing...that's how he usually puts it himself. Prepping for his upcoming US tour running starting today until December 16, Pierce has released a track called "Can't Judge", which is essentially a remix of Bo Diddley's "You Can't Change A Book By The Cover". It's a bit of an uncoventional track, but at the same time it's fun and radiates good vibes, paying homage to one of Keith Richards' influences, as mentioned in the book "Life".

If you're so fortunate to live near one of the locations where Pierce will be performing, do yourself a favour go see him perform. Check the link below for a list of all shows:

Love Liike This

Based out of Guernsey, producer duo Without have created this weeks first pick called "Love Liike This" feat. Essie. This track is an easy going piece, full with feel good vibes and a happy sounding instrumental, giving you summer-like feelings. Really enjoyable...the clear vocal performance by Essie, which gets particularly interesting to listen to during the chorus due to some creative effects and swivels. Always

It's just been a month since the previous single release from The Him, but now the duo is back with a brand new one called "Always". Jeroen and Steven as it turns out are machines...they simply must be...with the rate of productivity, consistency, quality and awesomeness they drop new music...However if they were machines, their music would be boring, repetitive and trivial, but it's far from that. "Always" is filled with beautiful emotional triggers, sweet melodies, interesting sounds and most importantly a unique identity which you can associate with The Him...just the way it should be!

Cold War (Nick AM Remix)

In my wildest dreams I didn't think Cautious Clay's "Cold War" could get any better...but someone seriously proved me wrong. So here we go...here's NYC's own Nick AM's version, which will blow your mind...nothing less...Think along the lines of Kaytranada, Pomo and Sean Turk, then you might know a bit of what to expect. What makes this track so good though, are the amazing deep house sounding late night vibes and some ultra sweet bass that makes the track extra thick and smooth. Combine that with the vocal, the lyrics and everything else nice the original has...you got perfection!

Come Back For You

Yeeeeeeeees! Tim aka Elephante is back with a new single and it's fire! The track is called "Come Back For You" feat. Matluck and it marks a new chapter for the young LA based producer, who's come along way after his debut album release. After pressing play, you're met with some awesome acoustic guitar that drives its way through the track like a boss. The drop presents itself with a combo of phat bass, trappy beats and some serious brass chunks to give "Come Back For You" a nice clubby attitude.

Cross Your Mind (Jenaux Remix)

Jenaux recently released his take on Wingtip's "Cross Your Mind". Going with a chillout vibe with funky elements, the NYC based producer goes in a different, but very refreshing downtempo direction with this track. Particularly the chorus/drop has a very sweet sound, playing with the tracks brass parts to create a cool effect. The smoothness factor on this one breaks the scale, but that's exactly what I need mid-week. Hope you enjoy this one just as much as I do!

Being part of the official remix pack, you can find this version of "Cross Your Mind" alongside the alternatives produced by Spencer Brown and Prince Fox (see the link below for streaming options).

Premiere: PCH (UNiViCE x Kyco Remix)

German DJ and producer Kyco has teamed up with UNiViCE for an energetic spin on Two Friends' "Pacific Coast Highway" feat. Max. Never had I thought of "PCH" as a trap track, but hearing it like this, it makes total sense. The vocal has been pitched accordingly to keep up with the pace, giving the track a cool and unusual sound. The instrumental culminates with a drop bursting with festival appeal and a colourful vibes.

After having remixed Avicii's hit "Without You", NYC based Disco Fries are back with a brand new original called "Side by Side". It's a track that shines thanks to an epic blend of both electronic and acoustic sounds, working together with bass player Brady Watt and Niv Toar on trumpet. In line with their previous single release "Moving On", this track brings a soulfull, pop infused vibe to the table that bursts of feel good rhythms, marking a refreshing detour from club music. City Lights

Let's take a trip to Austria, visiting the duo Palastic to check out their new single "City Lights" feat. Nevve. I love the soft electro dance vibe on this track, making it ideal for easy listening and worthy of the title "City Lights". The melody is catchy, but not boring and the arrangement, sound design and vocal performance deliver a great listening experience. Speaking of vocal, Nevve's name shouldn't be all new to you, having been featured on works by Elephante (news on him soon) and Illenium. And yes...the track has vocal chop, but it's some seriously crisp vocal chop!

With a dark and almost haunting vibe, they make this the perfect soundtrack to head into the cold November month (well...depending on where you are in the world). Despite the familiar vocals, the instrumental is naturally experimental, as only DROELOE can do it. Kids (Two Friends Remix) & (Codeko Remix)

It's all about "Kids" today :) U.S. based Two Friends & U.K. based Codeko have both dropped some absolutely amazing remixes for this classic childhood memory. "Kids" was part of MGMT's "Oracular Spectacular" album and came out almost exactly 10 years ago (yep, you may feel old now). Both Two Friends and Codeko have taken a trappy approach, but the end result on the two tracks are very different. Yoooo! Home-town peeepz :D Copenhagen based Blondage have dropped a new single called "Call It Off". If you're new to the duo, this track is a pretty on point teaser as to what their all about. Their experimental neo-dance/future-pop style is unlike anything you've heard before. It's catchy, but it's not predictable. Boyfriend

Jerry Folk just delivered...the dopest spin on any JB track ever. To be honest, it's very difficult to associate this with The Biebz at all, because the sound is so different on this track. Having released this on his Jerry Folk II channel on Soundcloud, it becomes clear that this was meant as an experiment and a fun detour from this usual style. It's dope when artists do that, challenging themselves creatively and helping their fans discover new things too. Kudos to you Jerry!

Without You (Disco Fries Remix)

You've heard Avicii's comeback single again and again on the radio, on Spotify, at the party, in the elevator, on the toilet?!...anywhere basically! However, you haven't heard it just like this! Disco Fries put the Disco back in Fries and deliver a funky fresh remix for "Without You" that will inevitably leave you with a big fat smile on your face when you start listening. It's a happy sounding remix and it transforms Avicii's cookie cutter sound profile in the best way possible. Disco Fries always like to experiment and I love that. My favourite Jack from London, jackLNDN, is back with a new single called "Bones". While delivering some smooth melodic deep house vibes on the instrumental, an unknown lady provides a sweet vocal performance to match. With every new release, jackLNDN just seems to get better and better, making "Bones" one of my absolute favourites of his to date. So make sure you keep an eye on this guy!

Gold

Let's start the week with some proper future bass/pop music from Win & Woo called "Gold" feat. Shaylen. They've crafted this easy listening piece which ticks all the right boxes for a radio friendly tune, generating a catchy melody, sing-a-long worthy lyrics and just the right amount of vocal chop. Speaking of vocal chop, the sound during the chorus adds a really cool late night (after club) vibe. The vocal performance is another element which lifts the track to another level in my opinion, creating the perfect contrast and adding a perfect level of energy to the track. "Gold" is out now and available via the link below. Enjoy!

Unforgettable (Sean Turk Bootleg)

Let's wrap up this weekend with a brand new release from Sean Turk. This one is a bootleg for French Montana's "Unforgettable", which has now received the ultimate 'bedroom bass' treatment. Sean's unique sound design carves itself into the identity of the original track, transforming it into something completely different, yet incredibly awesome and fresh sounding. It's also exactly stuff like this that makes me so enthusiastic about Sean's music. His style is easily identifiable in the electronic music jungle and it never fails to deliver some amazing emotion and sweet vibes.

Speed of Light Pt. 2

Do you want to be surprised? Well...then this is for you! You know Pegboard Nerds as a bass power house and deliverymen of some of the raunchiest electro releases, however with "Speed Of Light Pt. 2" feat. Taylor Bennett & Skylr they enter new territory, dropping a hip hop/rnb/pop spin of their original "Speed of Light". It's a bold move from the duo, but I think they've gotten away with it brilliantly and I highly appreciate the change of vibe. Hardcore fans are in for a proper wake-up call, but hopefully they'll be convinced once they dive in. With a serious flow on the rhymes and top notch production quality, it won't be long until you know the lyrics to this one. Wrong

Producer duo Far Out recently dropped a new single called "Wrong" feat. Emilia Ali and it's one of their finest tracks to date. The track is a crossover between dance music and pop and blends an emotional melody, haunting vocals and a perfect amount of energy into perfection. I'm particularly blown away by the amazing lyrics and vocal performance, which creates the ideal contrast to the instrumental. Perhaps a bit of a soft track to celebrate the fact that it's now finally Friday, but the quality makes up for it! Premiere: Redbone (Auxil Revision)

As a producer, should you mess with Childish Gambino's "Redbone"? Well...it's a tough decision, but when you can deliver something as awesome as this, then yes! Little is known about Auxil, but their revision of "Redbone" and their recent remix for Little Dragon's "Ritual Union" tell us that they are here to deliver some fine tunes and they know what they are doing.

The remix of Childish Gambino's hit is a mix of deep house and funk, with bass'ey goodness that will make your bones rattle. Canadian wonder duo Young Bombs have had the chance to remix Paperwhite's beautiful single "Only Us" and the result is absolutely epic. In classic Young Bombs style, the duo combine emotional sounding melodies with clubby vibes on this one, which also feels natural considering the original version of the track. The buildup vocal chop which extends into the drop deliver a grande sound which pushes energy through your speakers and makes you want to nod along in appreciation....or dance in public (depending on where you're listening to this).

Gravity

LA based producer (yep, apparently every producer lives there) Diamond Pistols has released a new single which will knock your socks off. The track is called "Gravity" feat. Lydia and sounds like Zedd meets Illenium. I love how the vocal and the instrumental play so well against each other, creating an almost theatrical listening experience in some parts. The energy on the drop is of course one of the highlights, but a big part of the tracks awesomenesss definitely lies with the vocal performance too.

Toronto based DJ and producer Patrick Quaggin-Smith aka Quaggin has dropped a crisp new remix for Justin Caruso's amazing single "Love Somebody". The added bounce on the instrumental really gives the track an entirely different flow, adding an energetic and fresh vibe. I love how the original vocal was incorporated here as well, making the remix sound like it was meant to sound like this from the beginning. Break Up Every Night (Two Friends Remix)

The force is strong with Two Friends and they keep pushing forward! This time it's with their own version of The Chainsmokers' "Break Up Every Night" and holy guacamole did they come out with a crisp result. Taking the best parts of the original and adding their own flavour suits "Break Up Every Night" very well. More Than I Do

Ready for new music? You've come to the right place! Here's the new single by Cologne based producer duo Saxity (aka Sebastian Dittrich & Konstantin Flegelskamp) called "More Than I Do". For this one the duo teamed up with Indiana based family band Oferle who deliver a spot on vocal performance and story line. The track delivers feel good vibes 'en masse', concentrated around a dance'y pop flavoured instrumental that will put a smile on your face. "More Than I Do" is out now everywhere, you can even pick up a copy as a free download if you please. Pick your poison via the link below:

Royal Blood

The one and only Louis Futon returns with a fresh new single called "Royal Blood" feat. Keiynan Lonsdale. This time the producer has gone with a lighter hip hop vibe, infused with rnb and pop. What makes the track stand out to me is particularly the use of horns, which add a refreshing live element to this piece of electronic bliss. In my humble opinion, "Royal Blood" belongs in the top 2 of Louis Futon releases so far, so this should have you excited for pressing that play button below. No more talking from me...let the music speak!

Runaway (Yeasayer Remix)

NYC native Julietta has received a dope remix for her track "Runaway" by none other than Yeasayer. What has this done to the track I hear you ask? If you're familiar with Yeasayer (and really...you should be), then it should come as no surprise that we've received something with a significant indie vibe and a modest upbeat boost. There's also a distinct 80's vibe that I am picking up, which really suits the original vocal performance a lot. I love the Yeasayer mystique that has been added here and it really feels like the track should have sounded like this from the beginning (although to be fair, the original track is amazing on its own too).

In My Mind

Having just released a new single with Plastic Plates under the pseudonym Luces, Amtrac keeps momentum with a solo remix release for the legendary Jesse Rose's "In My Mind". The remix brings back memories to Amtrac's early days were his own sound was characterised more around classic house music, with a disco twist (think "Feel Good"), hence maybe the reason why Amtrac called this a "Voyage Mix"...a voyage back in time?! :) Personally I find the vibes on this track incredibly contagious and I can't think of a better track to post on a Saturday.

Celebrate along to these oldschool, yet seriously classy house vibes by pressing that play button below and enjoy!

Everybody Hurts

My favourite Dutch duo, The Him, are back with a new single called "Everybody Hurts" feat. Ivy Adara. Sticking to their 6-week release plan they continue to push and spin out some amazing music, putting their song writing and producing skills to the test. This is also why they continue to impress me, managing to be consistant and drop one earworm after the other. "Everybody Hurts" is an EDM crossover between future bass and pop, with a haunting ad lib and a vocal performance to match...beautiful, clean and crisp, but able to give you chills as well (in a good way).

Their new single is out now as a free download, pick it up here or listen via your favourite online music platform.

While We're Dreaming

Two Friends have had a big 2017 so far and they continue with their stream of releases, dropping this hot potato called "While We're Dreaming" feat. Kevin Writer. This track captures their characteristic sound profile very well during the verses, however the drop has a more experimental style, which feels refreshingly different.. This is partly because it's not overly clogged up with unnecessary fills,  has some nice breaks for effect and still brings a superb melody and lots of feel good energy. "While We're Dreaming" is out now via Source on most major platforms. Give it a spin right here, or check the link below for alternatives.
